It has indeed come a long way from merely transmitting messages ,to providing a wide range of service for the socio economic betterment of the people.
Positioned as the nerve centre in the community life, today , the post office faces tough competition from the newer mode of technology.
The indian postal system which has its own importance and has successfully attend itself to change over the centuries , should not merely remain the world's largest postal communication system. It is imperative to ensure that it emerge as the most efficient one as well.
