Utkal Divas (Orissa Day/Odisha Day) is celebrated inOrissa on April 1 every year with great zeal and fervour.
The day is celebrated to mark the formation of the state as a separate province in 1936.
The state is celebrating the 75th Utkal Divas on Sunday, April 1 2012.
