'We have now taken post offices to every citizens of the country through Internet' - Kapil Sibal

Honorable union minister for communication and Information Technology Mr. Kapil Sibal, launched 'e-post office' the e-commerce portal of india post. The portal will enable the customer to transact postal business any time and from any where by using either debit card or credit card through the medium of internet,



The content of the portal is in english language. The next version of the portal is expected to be launched in Bengala and kannada language.





In the first phase the following services will be atailable for the customes:-

1)Electronic Money Order
2)Instant Money Order
3)Sale of Philately stamp
4)Postal Information
5)Tracking of express and international shipment
6)Pin code search
7)Registration of feedback and complaint
