DeleteHere is the information regarding postal assistant job in Andhra Pradesh.
1. you must be passed in 10+2 or its equivalent exam with English as a compulsory subject.
2. your age must be in between 18 to 25 of the year of notification.
3. you can get a pay scale of around Rs 5,200-20,200 per month with a grade pay of Rs 2,400.
4. if you are having high qualification then also you can apply for the above post, but you need to satisfy the above criteria.

DeleteRs.16500/-. If you are working at an office which is
situated in a Metro it will be around Rs. 17500/-.Any way an
amount of Rs.2000/-(approximately) will be taken from the
total salary for pension fund and also postal life
insurance, which is compulsory for postal employees
you will get a monthly income of 16,600 with all allowances.

Delete4000*1.86=7440
7440+2400=9840(basic)
9840*1.65=16236(including d.a & h.r.a)
16236+2160=18396(T A)
so the final salary including all allowances is :18396
After deducting 10% for pension fund it would be:16556
If GP is Rs. 2400, then Pay in Payband is Rs.7510.
DeleteSo, Basic Pay = Rs.(7510 + 2400) = Rs.9910.00
Then, HRA @ 30% = Rs.9910 * 30% = Rs.2973.00
(HRA rate in X (earlier A1) city = 30%, Y (earlier A, B1 &
B2) City = 20% and Z (earlier C) city = 10%)
DA @ 35% = Rs.9910 * 35% = Rs.3468.50
Since Pay in Payband is above Rs.7400.00 and GP is Rs.2400.00,
TA will be (Rs.1600.00 + DA), i.e., (Rs.1600.00 +
Rs.(1600.00 * 35%) = Rs.2160.00 in X grade city, where as in
rest it will be (Rs.800 + DA).
So, your gross salary in a X grade city would be =
Rs.(9910.00+2973.00+3468.50+2160.00) = Rs.18511.50 or
(rounded off) Rs. 18512.00
Now, the deductions will be as follows:
GSLI = Rs.200.00
Professional Tax (varies from state to state) = Rs.200.00 -
Rs.250.00
CPF(contributory provident fund) or NPS (new pension
scheme), which is 10% of (Basic salary + DA)=
Rs.(9910.00+3468.50)*10%= Rs.1337.85 or Rs.1338.00
So, total deduction is about Rs.1738.00.
So, your net salary in a grade X city will be about (more or
less a Rs.100.00 depending on Professional tax rate) Rs.16774.00

GDS to PA/SA
The Examination for eligible Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) to fill up the unfilled vacancies of LGO Examination will also be held as per extant Rules/guidelines of the department on the same day and time decided for Direct Recruitment as per the same syllabus etc.
