π Required Documents
- Proof of Identity (PoI) – PAN card, passport, voter ID, etc.

All documents must be originals; photocopies are not accepted.

- Locate a nearby Aadhaar Centre
Use the India Post Aadhaar Centre Locator to find your nearest facility. - Visit the Centre
Carry your Aadhaar card and original supporting documents. - Fill Aadhaar Update Form
Available at the counter or downloadable from UIDAI. - Biometric Authentication
Your identity will be verified via fingerprint or iris scan. - Submit Documents & Pay Fee
Payment can be made in cash or digitally. - Receive Acknowledgment Slip
This contains your Update Request Number (URN) for tracking.

- Updates are typically processed within 7–10 working days.
- You can check status at UIDAI’s Update Portal.
π₯ Download Updated Aadhaar
Once approved:
- Visit eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
- Enter Aadhaar number and OTP
- Download your updated e-Aadhaar (PDF password: First 4 letters of name in CAPS + birth year)
