 India Post operates over 13,000 Aadhaar Enrolment and Updation Centres across the country, offering both demographic and biometric update services.

🔧 What Can Be Updated at Post Office

You can update the following details in person:

Biometric	Photograph, Fingerprints, Iris scan

📋 Required Documents

• Proof of Identity (PoI) – PAN card, passport, voter ID, etc.
• Proof of Address (PoA) – Electricity bill, bank passbook, rent agreement, etc.
• Proof of Date of Birth – Birth certificate, SSLC certificate, passport

All documents must be originals; photocopies are not accepted.

📝 Correction Process at Post Office

1. Locate a nearby Aadhaar Centre

2. Visit the Centre
   Carry your Aadhaar card and original supporting documents.
3. Fill Aadhaar Update Form
   Available at the counter or downloadable from UIDAI.
4. Biometric Authentication
   Your identity will be verified via fingerprint or iris scan.
5. Submit Documents & Pay Fee
   Payment can be made in cash or digitally.
6. Receive Acknowledgment Slip
   This contains your Update Request Number (URN) for tracking.
