India Post has partnered with BSNL to sell SIM cards and mobile recharge services through its vast network of over 1.65 lakh post offices across India.

This move is part of a broader push to:

  • Expand mobile connectivity in rural and underserved areas
  • Leverage India Post’s last-mile reach for citizen-centric service delivery
  • Support Digital India and financial inclusion goals

The collaboration is already showing success in Assam and is expected to roll out nationwide soon.
